My Movie Reviews!! :)

1. Bedtime Stories
Nice, relaxing and surprisingly funny movie. Not exactly realistic but passable. Good for bored people, tired people or fans of Adam Sandler.

2. Yes Man
Hahahaha...i missed the beginning, so im not sure why hes so pessimistic at first, but its very funny and extremely interesting, so go watch it.

3. Ip Man
I was really excited about this movie, and i had few regrets after watching it. The martial arts looks really cool and the storyline is pretty well thought out. It seemed like they tried to put in some emotional scenes but that didn't really work for me. For action movie buffs. i guess.

4. Australia
=.= was forced to watch this movie, regretted it, 3 hours of confusion/torture. :) found it too draggy. if u just wanna crash at in the cinema, then this is for you.

Singapore tried very hard today..very well played (compared to the last time i saw them play)
BUT. lost to vietnam 1 - 0.
Singapore had so many chances, all wasted.
Vietnam had like ONE chance, very nice goal.
so, we're out of the Suzuki cup

and apparently its the last game to be played in the national stadium...
before they demolish it.

i also just got a new badminton racket!!!
an Armortec 900 (Technique)!!
for my xmas present from my grandmother :D

and im still waiting anxiously for my spers results, which should come by the end of the month.
AND apparently i didnt win the MTV+HP notebook design competition, because no one contacted me to tell me that i won..

im really happy today :D
because my exams are over!!!
and i also got a new high score of 142 for bowling just now :)
which may not seem like a lot..but still an achievement for me

anyway, my exams were really quite easy
hopefully i'll be able to get over 90% for math and english..
and the General Ability paper = ...
It was actually very interesting - everyone thought that it was going to be a 45 min paper, but then the invigilator kept talking until we only had 20 minutes left...then he gave us this booklet with 60 questions, one question per page.
and each question is basically a box with 8 shapes and 1 missing shape and 6 - 8 choices below
so all we had to do was select the correct missing shape and shade in on the OAS sheet.
Even though it sounds quite simple, some of the harder questions really made no sense and some people couldnt finish the 60 questions in 20 mins.
so..i think i'll do quite well overall. :)

today..was playing gh3 for quite some time.
must not get addicted to it.
and im planning to buy rockband 2 instead of gh world tour now...whenever it comes out in singapore..ugh

tmr going to queensway to buy soccer boots, socks, maybe shin guards, restring my badminton racket, put a new grip on my racket...if i have enough money. haha :)

i dont like my computer.

sundays soccer training was quite bad...
bought new gloves and didnt get to use them :(
started to rain while playing on the court...the lightning must have struck like a few hundred metres away that day - the thunder was deafening.

monday...uhh..

met up with JeanetteC!!
after like, 2 years of nvr seeing her.
feel so tall standing next to her..haha
went to AMKhub, supposed to eat lunch, got bubble tea instead and went to PS to eat. Pasta.
went back to serangoon gardens. made hair appointment *yawns* then went to meet her dog..KOBI. haha.
then went to the park.
went home.
AMKhub again for dinner.
randomly met GabrielW + CarissaF + ErnestQ + Nicholas(?) + sry if i forgot anyone..
yeah thats it.
took me some time to remember all of it..

tuesday...woke up at 7.30 went for a jog - nearly killed myself
DID MY WORK FOR THE DAY - 1 math paper :)
went to cut hair...VERY short.
uhh.after trying to find SOMEONE to come and make IC with me...eventually met up with CarissaF and accompanied her to her dental thing. got her new transparent retainers. =.= very high tech right.
then we went to ICA building Level 3 and applied for my IC
waited there so long...while ErnestQ was waiting at vivo. haha. sorry - was my fault. :D
then my bowling was cancelled.
went to vivo and got there before CarissaF. :)
then..the rest is nonsense. not worth writing, even less worthy of reading

ok bye.
have to jog 10k this week.
so far about 2.5k.
please tell me if u wanna play pool, i really have the urge to play for the past few weeks.

yeah I get it, the O's are over....DAMN.
now I'm gonna have to study like a loner..
at least everyone is happy and unstressed now!

GRADUATION DINNER ROCKED! :D
even though I'm not graduating!!!
Just want to thank Samuel Lee for buying his ticket then not collecting it, saved me from spending my precious $55.
And I wish I could've taken part in the Saints Hunt, I know I would've won :P haha.
Congrats to Abel for winning Most Photogenic Award. heh. although it was only because we all voted for you =.=

Anyway...I went to school to play soccer at 12.40 to around 4.
Then managed to get a ticket (from samuel) at 4+
Then rushed home, got ready and went back to potong pasir
Seriously impossible right.
4.45 left potong pasir, took a train + bus to serangoon gardens, ran home, got ready, took a cab back to potong pasir and reached the MRT at 5.33.
superspeeeddd!

Ya. Then after the dinner went to play pool :)
Took another cab home and reached at about 1.50.

I'm EXHAUSTED
Friday, went out - watched The Coffin AND Quantum Of Solace..crazy. The Coffin is seriously - in my opinion - waste of 2 hours of my life. But it was interesting to know about this weird "conquer death" ritual. Not scary at all, just some people with disfigured faces. Quantum Of Solace was better...car chase, boat chase, airplane chase... =.= usual stuff. haha.

Saturday was ok, went to church and (hopefully) helped with baby Joel's 1 month anniversary, although he probably doesn't know it himself. He's so tiny!

Overslept on sunday, woke up at 10.15 instead of 9.10. :S
Broke my record by getting ready and leaving the house in 15 mins, got a taxi and rusheddd to church.
I think I got there at...around 10.50.
Must have more self-discipline to wake up when my alarm tells me to!!
After lunch, soccer practice...in the muddy field.
But we played some street soccer before that :) and our team won :) because of me :) haha. and everyone else in our team of course......
Was covered in mud when I left at 5.30.
Went home - again by taxi because I was tired - showered and went to play badminton! :)
Today was great..I played very well compared to the last few weeks.
Still have to improve alot though, especially footwork :S
So now I'm about to collapse, my body is breaking down

the renovations should be finished tomorrow and my mother + younger sis will be coming back late tmr night as well.
But I probably won't have internet connection for a while..
Anyway, I went over to help clean the place up =.= its really really dusty and dirty and stuff
but I didn't have a mop so I had to wipe the floor with a rag..ugh.
So it looks really shiny and clean now. heh. especially my room. :)

This is our kitchen now, we have a new fridge, oven, dishwasher and tv =.= don't ask me why...it's just there.

It looks okayyy but still quite boring.

Of course, way better this way than leaving it the way it was before.

I guess thats why they call it carpet grass :)

It was quite fun for me just watching them unroll the grass and force it into the ground..

i am happy :D
seeing as i dont do anything interesting at all on most weekdays, i'll just write about what i did this weekend..

saturday was fun, i got a 'haircut' unfortunately my hairdresser couldnt really do anything to salvage my hair from the mess i'd created, so i just have it wait for it to grow longer before i can get a more 'normal' hairstyle. i also forgot about youth service at 3.30, which i am VERY sorry for missing...in my defence, i rushed all the way there as soon as i could after my haircut, thanks to ernest who reminded me. :) so that was fun.

i managed to get up early on sunday for church, i will try my best to keep it up :) haha...helped with distributing flyers and balloons for medical sunday, then had macs for lunch before going for soccer practice. completely ruined my black jeans and shoes, but had loads of fun :) thanks guys!

and even after soccer practice on sunday, they still wanted to play futsal(?) on monday. i have no idea how to spell it and have never played before, apparently its like soccer in a cage...?? anyway, i couldnt make it because i already made plans to go to sentosa.

haha..got up at 7.30 =.= went on a 'scenic cable car ride' to sentosa, found that it was really expensive and tiring AND there were a lot of people there. i guess we picked a bad day to go...so we went back to vivocity, walked a bit, went to ps gv then the cathay cineplex and watched hsm3 :) i guess it was okayyyy............................i liked most of the songs but besides that...i dunno. then had dinner at pizza hut and went home. and i grazed my knee on a bus-stop bench because i was so tired. then still blog.

so now i have to do some work before i sleep, maybe read a bit. im currently reading the 3rd book in the inheritence series, brisingr, and its really good. even though ive forgotten what eldest was all about.haha. so that its, goodnight!!

haha yes ronald, i got beaten by my 5 year old cousin :D BUT he had the bumper thing to his advantage, and he uses both his hands to bowl. im going again tmr, hopefully i'll beat him this time.haha..and yea i havent seen you at all, hows the exams??

saturday - stayed at home. doing work. ugh. then went out for dinner to celebrate my uncles birthday :D had a huge dinner.

sunday - more work, then went to play badminton...

monday - went out..bought new shoes! :) yay! very nice pair of adidas. :) and got the latest artemis fowl book, didnt even know there was a new one. heh..i dont think even think its new, just havent been to a bookshop for so long. then...watched max payne =.= quite stupid. its about some drug which supposedly enhances a persons ability to fight, but only work on 1% of everyone. the other 99% hallucinate and see demons and stuff attacking them. haha..

tuesday - woke up at 8.15..went for tuition until 1. learnt a few new things and got alot more homework. :( then i decided to stop by school to collect some of my old art stuff :) and i saw all the sec 4s taking the Os!!! hahaha...would have stood there and laughed but it was raining. :D then back home to do more work. ohh..then i went bowling! achieved a new pathetic personal best of 108! hahaha..my cousin has his own style of bowling, its really funny. (because hes only 5) he carries the ball with both hands, runs towards the alley and drops the ball :) then he slides forward because of the shoes and today he lost his balance and started spinning around, nearly fell down... :) but he beat me with a score of 116..quite depressing.

plan for the rest of the week - stay at home and study =.= ughhh. but i must focus my mind, like all the sec 4 ppl. just a few more weeks...

so yeah.
i dont feel as if ive done alot, but its already almost november!! my mother and younger sis will be coming back in 10 days, then we'll be moving back into our own house :) and i will have less freedom..haha.

So...

...its already friday!
This week literally flew by.
Seriously..I can't remember what I did on monday or tuesday.

Wednesday I had my 3 hour long intense math and english tuition. nearly fell asleep.
According to my math tuition teacher, I've covered the entire e maths sec 3 syllabus and most of the sec 4 syllabus. yay! :D
And my english is pretty good as well, duhh.
So now I'm just going to revise and keep doing the questions over and over again until I start doing them in my sleep.
Then I should be well prepared for the tests in December.

Btw, alot of people still don't understand what test this is.
I'll be taking the SPERS (School Placement Exercise for Returning Singaporeans) test..
I only have 3 papers - O Level Math, English and a General Aptitude test :D
Then I'll receive a list of JCs that are suitable for my standard based on my results and I'll have to go to the JC of my choice and apply directly.
Its not guaranteed though, and not all JCs accept this exercise.
So it's not as easy as it sounds. seriously. I'll suffer in JC. :(

Anyway, it's better for me.
After seeing all the majorly stressed out people studying 24/7 in the libraries, I'm feeling relieved.
Like on wednesday, went to Toa Payoh (with Ernest and GabLow) to study at about lunchtime, the library was so full of students! And they all looked like zombies. It was the same today...not really surprising actually, because the TP library is tiny.
But I also went to that oversized one at Raffles and the one at Bishan and it was the same.!
It's kinda scary..
So..GOOD LUCK to everyone taking the O's next week!

...Today was fun though.
As I said, I went to TP again (also with Ernest) , saw all the zombie students AGAIN, then went to macs next door to study.
Then after about 3 hours of peaceful studying, GabLow joined us to 'study'
and after like 2 hours of his complaining we all left. and went upstairs to play pool :D
hahaha...O's in 3 days still can play pool.
(I need to practice more, haven't played for too long, anyone want to go with me?? :))
Had dinner, then took the 73 with Jeremy(?) from church who doesnt live in some faraway place like Sembawang =.=
Hahaha.. He was like so happy when I said he looked 17 and I was so surprised when he said he was 19...but he really doesn't look 19 to me. I think my age-judging skills were messed up when I went to Switz, most of the people there look too old for their age.. :)

Yea so tomorrow is my uncles birthday, going to have a huge dinner :D
I'll try to blog more often, but I don't want to write boring stuff, I think that it makes me a more boring person.heh.

so i was thinking today, while doing my emo essay, that this blog will not last.

ya i know, just create already so negative...

i think its because of this essay im writing..its for tuition on wednesday
(who has english tuition?!?! so shameful.)

and the topic is Alienation.
so im writing about this kid who was born deformed and has a severe case of dyslexia..
and then he commits suicide.
very very sad..
dont think i'll score very high for it, wrote too much boring stuff.

hopefully this will last for the next three months until i begin school again
and i'll be writing about all the boring stuff i do (studying, eating, etcetc...)

oh yea, i went to the J8 arcade with a friend on..saturday!!
haha. was quite fun, they have this like reflex game thing with 3 different coloured buttons and u have to hit the right ones at the right times..
and they also have this one where you have to throw the balls at the screen and hit the targets. haha. you all probably know better than me...

just a few minutes ago, i decided to try to change the blogskin..
then, just a few seconds ago, i decided i was too lazy.. :)
but i think this is nice and simple right??
and quite boring.. =.=

and i still have 3 compre passages to do, 3 paper 2 maths papers to burn my brain cells with by wednesday.......................

but besides that, im free almost every day unless i have some plans. usually to go and study =.=

This is what he has done since coming back from Switzerland..

1) Eating too much, hes missed singapore food

2) Studying hard, important test in december

3) Going out, making new friends :)

4) Exercising, and realizing how unfit he is

It's not much, but its been a great week.

And went to Chapel Of The Holy Spirit today...really fun, will definitely try to make it every week.

Now, supposed to be doing a composition for tuition, but cannot think of any ideas for the topic - Alienation. Hoping that all this writing will lead to a brainstorm. And also drinking soya bean..don't know if that helps.

So anyway, I'm not using my computer now, I'm not even living in my own house right now, so the blog posts might be quite boring. I think its so much more interesting when I include pictures, especially if I'm in the pictures.

Oh yeah, I watched Burn After Reading yesterday. Just remembered it for some reason, and wanted to say that I didn't understand the storyline at all. So if anyone wants to explain it to me, go ahead :) I thought it would be good, with Brad Pitt and George Clooney and that guy-who-looks-familiar-but-I-don't-know-his-name-guy. Quite disappointing . . .

And I stupidly deleted my other blog before noting down the links, so please leave a link and link me as well, I only managed to remember a few. Thanks!
